After studying industrial engineering at OTH in Weiden, I began my professional career directly at Nexans autoelectric and worked in the quality department for three years as a quality planner. Then I was curious to try something new and made a brief detour to another company as a key account distribution manager. However, my interest in quality matters and the contact with my former colleagues continued and so I returned to Floß in 2015. Initially for a brief period within quality management, then taking over responsibility for one of our biggest customers as a team leader. I am especially driven by the search for the best solutions in the natural area of conflict between customer requirements, process conditions and cost factors. Since the beginning of 2019, my responsibility for quality has grown considerably and now extends to all customers we supply with low-voltage wire harnesses.
A suitable overall package
It was the right decision to return to Nexans autoelectric, because responsibility, the scope for decision-making and assignments fit together ideally here. It is exciting to be able to make a difference, as well as both satisfying and motivating to lead the various projects to success together with the team.
I very much appreciate the individual support of my further training, for example Nexans autoelectric supported my correspondence course as a quality engineer optimally, both financially and in terms of time.
The interpersonal relations are a significant factor for me.
Even when opinions diverge, it remains sporting and fair – when it matters, everybody pulls together.
The Upper Palatinate (Oberpfalz) as a luxury factor
Working in a big city has never held much charm for me. Generous living space at reasonable prices, traffic-free streets and a range of sports possibilities in the vicinity are a true luxury. It takes me 30 minutes every day to drive to work and if I want I can be in Regensburg or Nürnberg in less than an hour.
